CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work Wednesday through Friday from 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM
• Must be willing to take call two weekends per month
• If a holiday falls on a scheduled workday, must work the holiday
• 24 hours of orientation required
• Patient ratios: 3 during days, 2 during nights and weekends
• Float to other units as needed
• Work with patients of all age groups: infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Perform CT scans including abdomen, pelvis, chest, head, cervical, lumbar, and thoracic imaging
• Handle both contrast and non-contrast procedures
• Perform interventional procedures and support stroke center operations
• Prepare and administer contrast media and start peripheral IVs
• Follow isolation precautions and use appropriate PPE
• Work with Philips equipment and Medrad injector
• Required certifications: ARRT R, BLS
• Must have 1 year of experience
• EPIC charting system experience required
• NY license required in hand to submit
• Scrubs provided or can wear personal choice
• Pre-approved time off limited to one week maximum per contract
• Complete pre-start modules (up to 10 hours total)
