Job Details:

• Shifts will vary based on need - must be able to work either shift
• Weekend coverage required; schedules may rotate and traveler may occasionally work 2 consecutive weekends
• Scheduling depends on staffing need; manager will avoid scheduling traveler every weekend
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Travel experience required
• Medical Assistant certification highly preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, CMA (preferred), PALS (preferred)
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Serve patients across age groups including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Skills include administering medication, obtaining vital signs, rooming patients, chart preparation, immunizations, blood glucose via glucometer, nebulizer treatments, wound care, urine dipstick/urinalysis, pap smear, ear lavage, suture removal, telephone triage, capillary draws, intradermal and intramuscular injections, pulse oximetry, scheduling appointments, stocking and ordering supplies, record history/medications/allergies, and specimen labeling
• Work within a 13-room clinic with a daily census of 100-250 patients
