Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech CVOR

Job Details:

• Weekend schedule: Friday through Sunday or Saturday through Monday
• Call requirements subject to change based on departmental needs
• Floating required within facility/scope of practice and to Main OR as needed
• Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Patient ratio of 1:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Cardiovascular/thoracic, Transplant, and Robotics (Thoracic) experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
• Serves adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
• Maximum 7 days of pre-approved time off per contract; all RTO must be finalized at time of submission
• Holiday work expectation: if 1-2 major holidays fall during assignment, traveler is expected to work all of them; if 3 major holidays fall during assignment, traveler is expected to work 2 of them
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Required skills include: Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm repair, Aortic Aneurysm repair, Aseptic Technique, Cardiothoracic robotic surgery, Care of scopes and fiber optic equipment, Carotid Endarterectomy, Colonoscopy, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG), CVOR, Endovascular Aneurysm Repair, Endovascular Aortic Repair (EVAR), Femoral popliteal bypass graft, Flexible Endoscope Reprocessing, Instrument Processing, Laparoscopic assisted cases, Laparoscopic Cardiac Surgery, Lung resection/Thoracotomy, Mitral valve replacement, Pericardial window, Sterilization/Disinfection, TEVAR, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), Trauma, VATS, Vein stripping, Ventricular Assist Device (VAD), and airway management
