X-Ray Technician

Opportunity:

Rad Tech - Xray Tech type: Radiology

Job Details:

• Work 5x8 day shifts Monday through Friday with rotating call on Sunday nights
• 30-minute response time required for Sunday night call
• Weekend and holiday requirements apply depending on shift
• Float coverage includes outpatient, ER, ICU, floor X-rays, OR, and Fluoro procedures when working days
• After 7:00 PM, responsibilities include general ER, ICU, and inpatient X-rays with occasional add-on or late surgeries
• Average of 5-20 X-rays per shift with occasional surgical cases
• Must have digital radiography (DR) skills and some OR experience
• Must be able to work independently and assist CT technologist on shift with patient transfers
• Department equipped with 2 X-ray rooms, 2 portables, and 3 C-arms using GE equipment
• EMR system: EPIC; PACS system: Synapse Fuji
• No dress code requirements for scrubs
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ARRT (R)
• Kansas LRT licensure required
• Must provide own radiation badge
• Kansas driver's license must be submitted; must be within 60-mile radius
• Must be available in-state for the full week of orientation
