RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work as a member of the interdisciplinary team providing professional/clinical knowledge and skills in patient care
• May float within the same discipline across local campuses
• Work every other weekend
• Required to work 1-2 of 3 summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day)
• No on-call responsibilities
• Must be comfortable with neuro patients and surgical patients within the medical surgical unit
• At least 2 years of previous Med Surg RN experience required
• At least 1 travel contract completed required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), NIHSS
• Wisconsin nursing license required
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission date required
• 1 supervisory reference required at time of submission
• Must have taxable address outside of 50 miles from facility (unless Madison local with 10% rate reduction)
• EMR system: EPIC
