Cath Lab Technologist Job in North Venice, FL

Join Sarasota Memorial Hospital - Venice as a Cath Lab Technologist in our cardiac catheterization laboratory. You will work with an invasive cardiac patient population aged 18 and up, performing both diagnostic and interventional procedures in a two-cath lab environment.

Schedule & Commitment

• 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• 91-day assignment starting July 20, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,920
• Weekend, call, holiday, and emergency call required
• On-call responsibilities included

Role Expectations

• Circulate and scrub as applicable in the cardiac cath lab
• Focus on invasive cardiac diagnostic procedures
• Float between Sarasota Venice Hospital and main Sarasota campus with ample notice for full shifts
• Travelers float first in rotation
• Work with Allscripts medication system

Required Qualifications

• Allied Health Professional degree
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience
• Minimum 2 years of specialty experience; EP experience preferred
• Prior travel healthcare experience required
• Current licensure or registration in Florida through CCI
• Current certifications: CVT, BLS, ACLS, and registered cardiovascular technologist certification (RCIS and/or RCES) or radiologic tech (ARRT) CV
• CVT requires AS degree or higher
• Flexibility to accommodate facility needs

Facility Details

• Dress code: CVT/RT wear burgundy scrubs
• 2-3 days of orientation provided
• No locals within 50-mile radius; no block scheduling accommodated
