Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

• Block scheduling available with up to 3 consecutive shifts, though not guaranteed
• Weekend coverage required with 9 weekend shifts per contract
• 24-hour orientation provided
• Provide respiratory therapy services across adult med/surg, adult critical care, and general pediatric units
• Work with neonatal, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
• Support all pulmonary processes including trauma cases
• Operate specialized equipment including Jet and Oscillatory ventilation for NICU, PB 980 ventilator, V-60 for non-invasive ventilation, Nitric delivery systems, and iStat POC for blood gas analysis
• Perform procedures including intubation, extubation, bronchoscopy, arterial blood gas drawing and interpretation, BiPAP/CPAP management, and high-frequency ventilation
• Provide care in a Level 3 Trauma/Level 2 functioning facility with a Level 3 NICU
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• RRT credential required - CRT will not be accepted
• Travel experience required
• Cerner charting experience preferred
• Trauma Level II experience required; Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS
