Opportunity:

Sleep Tech - Polysomnographer

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM with weekends as scheduled
• No weekend or holiday requirements
• No on-call or standby requirements
• No floating requirements
• 4-bed unit with patient ratios of 2:1 or 1:1 depending on patient needs
• Work with pulmonary patients, OSA, CSA, OHS, COPD, oxygen dependent, cardiology, and REM behavior patients
• Experience with NATUS sleep works and MPR home units required
• Proficiency in sleep study scoring required
• Work with RT equipment including CPAP, BiPAP, and ASV
• Charting performed in EPIC
• No self-scheduling allowed, though some flexibility with range of days scheduled
• Cancellation policy allows 2 shifts per 13-week contract
• Dress code requires navy blue scrubs
• BSN not required
• Required certifications: BLS, Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) via BRPT, Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) via NBRC, Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) via NBRC, and/or Certified Sleep Disorders Specialist (SDS) via NBRC
