<p><strong>Allied Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>Rad Tech-Cobb-Radiology-Days - Imaging</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work Friday 6:30 AM to 8:00 PM, Saturday and Sunday 7:00 AM to 8:30 PM<br>• Must be flexible with work hours to meet department needs<br>• Perform a wide variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment and initiative<br>• Set up equipment to provide imaging services and position patients for procedures<br>• Obtain complete clinical history and assess for contraindicating conditions<br>• Follow established procedures for contrast media administration when applicable<br>• Ensure proper patient identification and appropriate marker utilization<br>• Review radiographic images for clinically acceptable results<br>• Respond to emergency situations and maintain life support equipment when applicable<br>• Adjust technique to ensure patients receive lowest possible radiation dose while maintaining image quality<br>• Clean, disinfect, and maintain equipment according to infection control policies<br>• Transport and position patients, help them on and off procedure tables<br>• Apply shielding, supportive, and immobilization devices<br>• Take call when necessary<br>• Work with students during clinical rotations<br>• Required certifications: ARRT-R (ARRT Radiography), BLS (Basic Life Support)<br>• Must have completed accredited Radiologic Technology program<br>• Entry level position with excellent communication skills required<br>• Must function independently under pressure while participating in team environment<br>• Must be detail oriented with ability to multitask effectively</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive diagnostic imaging department that provides a full range of radiologic services.
