Registered Nurse - Operating Room @ MUSC Health Columbia Medical Center Downtown

<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - OR</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work day shift 4x10 schedule from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM<br>• Weekends not required<br>• Up to one call day per week (call during the week starts at 5:00 PM)<br>• 1 call weekend every 5 weeks<br>• 2 years of experience required<br>• First time travelers accepted<br>• South Carolina or Multi State/Compact RN license required<br>• BLS certification required<br>• Previous charge experience preferred<br>• 1:1 patient ratio<br>• 8 hours of orientation<br>• Hospital-issued scrubs for OR<br>• Epic charting system<br>• Radiation badge required and must be provided by agency<br>• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks<br>• Extensive OR skills required including robotic surgery, trauma procedures, and specialty surgeries<br>• Must be able to work with adults and geriatric patients<br>• No floating required<br>• Block schedule requires manager approval</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This acute care hospital is a 304-bed medical center that provides comprehensive healthcare services including advanced surgical procedures and robotic surgery capabilities.
