Physical Therapist Outpatient Job in Silver City, NM

Gila Regional Medical Center Crisis Response in Silver City, NM is seeking a Physical Therapist for outpatient rehabilitation services. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting June 22, 2026.

Schedule & Environment

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (40 hours per week)
• Primarily outpatient setting with occasional inpatient work, possibly one day per week
• May occasionally cover inpatient cases on Saturdays
• 1:1 patient ratio
• No on-call requirements

Your Role

You will treat adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients with a range of conditions including ankle sprains, degenerative disc disease, knee injuries, hip fractures, post-operative cases, stroke rehabilitation, and spinal conditions. You will utilize therapeutic modalities such as aquatic therapy, ultrasound, TENS, and manual therapy techniques.

Requirements

• Current New Mexico Physical Therapist License
• AHA BLS certification
• Experience with Meditech charting system
• 8 hours of orientation provided

Compensation & Time Off

Weekly pay is $2,508. Two pre-approved time off periods are allowed during your assignment.
