Job Details:

• Ambulatory OR CST position with 9 operating rooms
• Schedule options: 3x12s (6:30 AM - 7:00 PM) or 4x10s (6:30 AM - 5:00 PM), Monday through Friday
• One late week per 4 weeks required to complete cases
• No weekends and no major holidays required
• No on-call required
• Possibility of floating within Perioperative facility
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Travel experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Required certifications: NBSTSA, BLS
• Radiation badge must be provided by parent company
• Charting system experience required; Epic system used
• Preferred experience: Ophthalmology, Ortho, ENT, GYN, GU, Endocrine, Surgical Oncology
• Patient age group: Adults
• Patient ratio: 1:1
• May be required to precept a care team member in the operating room
• Guaranteed hours: Traveler may be called off up to 10 hours per 2-week period
• Special equipment includes: Lasers (Ophthalmology, ENT, GU, GYN), Mini C-Arm, Storz video towers, Arthrex arthroscopy towers, Neptune suction/smoke evacuation system, beach chair bed attachments, and Allen stirrups
• Interdisciplinary support available: Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Radiology, Pharmacy, and Unit Secretary
• Patient diagnoses include: Total joint replacements, joint arthroscopies, hands, foot and ankle, podiatry, plastics, surgical oncology breast, endocrine, ENT, OMFS, adult dental special needs, ophthalmology, minimally invasive surgery, GU, GYN, pain, and colorectal
