Physical Therapist Job in Iron River, MI

Aspirus Iron River is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment. You will work 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, with 40 guaranteed hours per week at $3,024 weekly pay. Your assignment runs from May 4, 2026.

Your Role

You will evaluate, treat, and plan patient care according to Physical Therapy Standards of practice. You'll treat a mixed patient population across the lifespan, from pediatrics through geriatrics, in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Your caseload will include orthopedic cases such as post-op total knee arthroplasty, total hip arthroplasty, and total shoulder arthroplasty, as well as outpatient neurology. You will document care to meet regulatory and reimbursement requirements using the Epic EMR charting system.

Facility and Schedule

You will float between Aspirus Iron River Hospital and the Outpatient Clinic. You are required to be on-call 1 weekend per month with a 2-hour minimum call back. During low census periods, you may be placed on low census or on-call status. The contract includes 36 hours of low census unbillable hours.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Physical Therapy
• Michigan State PT Licensure
• AHA or ARC BLS certification
• Experience with Epic EMR charting system
• New graduates are accepted

Additional Information

You must live outside a 50-mile radius from the facility. Dress code is casual professional attire. During flu season, you may be required to wear a mask if you decline flu and COVID vaccination. Candidates with demonstrated cold weather experience are preferred for winter start dates.
