Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend requirement with holiday coverage required
• Float to other units as needed based on hospital requirements
• Maintain 1:6 patient ratio on a 36-bed medical surgical unit
• Work with telemetry equipment, monitors, Dynamaps for vital signs, glucometers, iMobile phones, and bladder scanners
• Document using Meditech system
• Perform hourly rounding, bedside shift report, maintain My Care Boards, and utilize AIDET communication
• Capable of performing PICC line removal and vas cath/temp cath removal procedures
• Strong telemetry rhythm interpretation skills required
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Must wear ceil blue scrubs and follow hospital hygiene/dress code policy
• Self-scheduling available within established guidelines
• Strong nursing background with thorough assessment skills and attention to detail required
• Must demonstrate positive attitude, flexibility, dependability, teamwork, and excellent communication skills
