Echo Technologist Job in Waimea, HI

Kauai Veteran's Memorial Hospital is seeking an Echo Technologist for a full-time travel position. You will perform general, vascular, and echocardiography ultrasound studies in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Position Details

• Location: Waimea, HI
• Facility: Kauai Veteran's Memorial Hospital
• Schedule: Flex shift, 40 hours per week
• Duration: 91 days
• Start Date: June 15, 2026
• Weekly Pay: $3,524

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general, vascular, and echocardiography ultrasound studies
• Work independently without direct supervision
• Work rotating day and night shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Provide on-call coverage as needed
• Work across two hospital locations as assigned
• Work overtime as needed

Required Qualifications

• Allied Health Professional credential
• ARDMS licensure and current certification in all three specialties: General, Vascular, and Echo
• Documented experience in all three modalities: General, Vascular, and Echo
• Ability to reside within 20 minutes of the hospital when on-call
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts

Additional Information

Holiday pay is provided based on hours worked on New Year's Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day. This is an excellent opportunity to gain travel experience while serving a veteran population in a scenic Hawaiian location.
