<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - PCU</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Provide competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards<br>• Coordinate and deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process in a hospital setting<br>• Report and be accountable to the Nurse Manager/Director<br>• Demonstrate competence in care of patients with complex problems including physical, psychosocial, educational and safety aspects of care<br>• Perform bedside point of care testing as required for patient care plan<br>• Utilize healthcare organization and nursing standards, policies and procedures in delivery of care<br>• Organize and prioritize care according to patient/family needs<br>• Assess readiness to learn of patients, families, and caregivers<br>• Participate in education programs based on identified learning needs<br>• Collaborate with patient/family to prepare or update the plan of care<br>• Participate in interdisciplinary team discussions for patient care evaluation<br>• Promote a safe, clean and secure hospital environment for all<br>• One year of nursing experience required<br>• Nursing Diploma or ADN/ASN from an accredited school of Nursing required<br>• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina required<br>• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification (AHA or ARC) required<br>• BSN or MSN from an accredited school of Nursing preferred</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This major healthcare organization is a leading academic medical center that provides comprehensive patient care across multiple specialties.
