CVOR Technologist Job in Galveston, TX

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join Jennie Sealy Hospital in Galveston, TX as a CVOR Technologist. This is a 13-week contract assignment beginning May 11, 2026.

Position Details

• 5x8 evening shifts: 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday
• 40 hours per week; no guaranteed hours during the first 2 weeks
• On-call availability as needed
• Weekly pay: $2,016

Role Responsibilities

• Provide advanced-level technical assistance to the surgical team before, during, and after surgery
• Assist in surgical operations under the supervision of surgeons and registered nurses
• Ensure operating room environment safety and proper equipment function
• Scrub general, urology, gynecology, ENT, plastics, ortho, and neuro cases
• Demonstrate competency in emergency neuro (cranials and spine), eyes, endo-vascular, ENT, general trauma, plastics, robotics, and ortho cases
• Participate in holiday rotations as needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum five years of surgical tech experience
• Level 1 Trauma designated operating room experience required
• Current BLS certification through American Heart Association
• Current certification as Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA)
• Associate Degree or Certificate in Allied Health

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• Experience with robotics, transplant, burn, ophthalmology, or CT cases
