Respiratory Therapist Job in Columbia, SC

MUSC Health Columbia Medical Center Downtown is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 91-day travel assignment. You will work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with every other weekend required. There are no on-call responsibilities, and guaranteed hours are in place with the facility allowed to call off one shift per two weeks.

Role and Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory services including ventilator management, airway care, and medication administration
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Float within scope to meet facility needs across DT/NE/Fairfield/Kershaw campuses based on census and staffing
• Use Epic charting system
• During hurricane season (June–November), may be assigned to emergency response teams

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
• Active South Carolina RRT license at time of start
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and RRT
• Epic charting system experience
• First-time travelers accepted
