Certified Surgical Technologist in Harlingen, TX

As a Certified Surgical Technologist with ADEX Healthcare Staffing, you will support surgical teams in a fast-paced operating room environment at Valley Baptist MC - Harlingen. This 91-day travel assignment runs 5 days per week on evening shift (1:00 PM–9:30 PM) and offers you the opportunity to sharpen your technical skills while working alongside experienced surgical professionals.

Your responsibilities include:

• Maintain strict aseptic technique throughout all operating room procedures
• Set up equipment, instrumentation, and sterile supplies for assigned surgical cases
• Scrub in and pass instruments and equipment during procedures
• Pull cases before surgery and break down cases once procedures conclude
• Prepare the operating room and organize supplies for the current day's and next day's surgical schedule
• Remain available for call on an assigned, scheduled basis as unit needs require

You will wear Royal Blue scrubs in the operating room. This position requires you to work efficiently and safely while maintaining focus in a dynamic surgical setting. Your attention to detail, knowledge of surgical instruments, and ability to anticipate surgeon needs are essential to this role.
