PCU RN Job in Cleveland, OH

Cleveland Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Progressive Care Unit. You will provide intermediate-level patient care in a stepdown environment, working with patients who require closer monitoring than general medical floors but do not need ICU-level intensity.

In this role, you will:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for your assigned patient population
• Monitor vital signs and respond to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications and treatments according to provider orders
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient care activities and medical records
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
• Provide education to patients and families about their conditions, treatments, and recovery
• Support patients in the transition from intensive care to less acute settings

Position Details:

• Schedule: 3x12 nights
• Duration: 90 days
• Start Date: July 13, 2026
• Weekly Pay: $2,059.20

Requirements:

• Current RN license (required)
• BLS certification (typically required)
• ACLS certification (may be preferred or required)

You will be part of a supportive clinical team in a progressive care setting where your nursing skills directly impact patient outcomes during a critical phase of their hospital stay.
