Physical Therapist Job in Austin, TX

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 13-week contract assignment at St. David's Medical Center in Austin, TX. This role offers you the opportunity to work across multiple clinical settings and patient populations in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Position Details:

• Shift: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday with weekend rotation (1–2 weekend days per 4-week period)
• Duration: 13 weeks, starting April 20, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,044
• Settings: Inpatient Rehabilitation (IPR), Outpatient (OP), and Acute care

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care across acute, inpatient rehabilitation, and outpatient settings
• Maintain 75% direct patient care per 8-hour shift while meeting productivity standards
• Transition between multiple programs and settings throughout the day
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient outcomes
• Follow assigned schedules and demonstrate effective time management

Required Qualifications:

• Current Physical Therapist degree and valid state licensure
• Clinical experience with neurological conditions including spinal cord injury (SCI), brain injury (BI), and stroke rehabilitation
• Demonstrated experience working in acute, inpatient rehabilitation, and outpatient settings
• Familiarity with IPR post-acute guidelines and CARE tool assessment preferred
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple programs
