CVOR RN Job in Kingwood, TX

You'll work as an RN in the Operating Room at HCA Houston Kingwood, specializing in cardiovascular surgery procedures. This is a 13-week travel assignment with day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday, plus call coverage after 3:00 PM and weekend call responsibilities.

Your Role

• Provide 1:1 patient care during open heart procedures
• Assist with CABG procedures (with and without EVH), Impella placements, pericardial windows, valve replacements, and ECMO cases
• Float to other operating rooms when open heart procedures are not scheduled
• Work with standard OR equipment and the Meditech EMR system
• Demonstrate dependability and flexibility in a dynamic surgical environment

Requirements

• RN degree
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Open heart surgery experience
• Cardiothoracic service line experience
• Experience with additional service lines preferred (Trauma, General, Gynecology, Urology, Orthopedic, Neurology, Plastics)

• Location: Kingwood, TX
• Duration: 91 days, starting April 6, 2026
• Schedule: 5x8 days per week
• Weekly pay: $2,569.60
• Call assistance available for holidays
• Dress code: Navy blue scrubs

You'll join a surgical team focused on complex cardiovascular cases while maintaining flexibility to support other OR specialties as needed.
