Opportunity:

First Assist - Certified Surgical First Assist

Job Details:

• Work 10-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM with ability to flex until 7:00 PM
• 40 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week contract length
• Call requirements: every 4th weekend and approximately 1 week overnight
• Weekend and holiday coverage as needed
• Float to Waukesha Memorial and Mukwonago facilities as needed
• Minimum 2-3 years first assist experience in full-fledged operating room with all service lines
• Must be comfortable with emergency situations
• Unit-specific skillset includes orthopedic and laparoscopic cases
• Required certifications: BLS, CSFA (AST or NBSTSA certified preferred, ABSA will be redirected)
• Associate degree or certificate required
• Travel experience strongly encouraged
• Hospital-provided scrubs (blue)
• Must demonstrate strong work ethic, positive attitude, resilience, and ability to manage change well
