Ultrasound Tech - Ultrasound Tech

Job Details:

• Work three 12-hour shifts per week, Monday through Thursday from 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM with holiday rotation
• No on-call requirements
• Float between Main Hospital and ART campus as needed
• Daily caseload varies
• Perform general ultrasound procedures including abdominal doppler imaging
• Must be proficient in renal transplant and liver transplant imaging
• Skills include abdominal aorta, gallbladder, liver, pancreas, renal, renal artery duplex, spleen, thyroid, and additional sonography procedures
• Charting system: Epic
• Scrub colors: Teal tops and black bottoms
• Parking cost: Nights and weekends only with a one-time payment of $20 for a parking pass
• Guaranteed hours: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Must have experience working at a large hospital; first-time travelers not accepted unless coming from a large teaching facility
• Must have completed a prior travel assignment
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS and ARDMS or ARRT (S) certification
• Graduated from an accredited school of Diagnostic Medical Sonography required
• SC state ultrasound licensure is not required
• Radiation badge not required
