PCU Registered Nurse Job in Helena, MT

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 90-day travel assignment at St. Peter's Health in Helena, Montana. You'll work 3x12 night shifts and earn $2,286 weekly.

About the Role

You will join the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) stepdown float pool, caring for patients transitioning from intensive care to lower-acuity settings. Your patient ratios will be 1:5 to 1:6, with a primary population of stepdown-level patients rather than heavy ICU-type patients. Floating is required between medical floor, stepdown/ICU, and surgical/oncology units, so flexibility and adaptability are essential.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of stepdown experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• ICU experience preferred
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Must reside outside of a 200-mile radius

Facility Details

St. Peter's Health uses Epic as their electronic medical record (EMR) system. You should be comfortable working in an Epic environment or willing to quickly adapt to it.

All time-off requests or schedule requests must be submitted at the time of your initial application submission. Requests submitted after the initial submission will not be approved. This assignment begins November 15, 2026.
