ED - Emergency Room

Opportunity:

RN - ED ER

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week assignment length
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Rotating weekend schedule required
• Patient ratio of 4:1 (6:1 for low acuity ESI 4 & 5 patients)
• Prior emergency department experience required
• Stroke and STEMI experience preferred
• Trauma and pediatrics experience preferred
• Perform splinting and breathing treatments in addition to typical ED RN duties
• Work with equipment including Lucas, Level 1, Alaris IV pumps, I-Stat, EPOC, and GE monitors
• Utilize EPIC electronic medical records system
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, NIH, ENPC
• Alaska RN license required at time of submission
• Dress code: Navy blue scrubs, appropriate fit (not tight or revealing)
