Opportunity:

Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech CVOR

Job Details:

• Day shift position in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)
• Guaranteed 40 hours per week
• Average case volume of 3 cases per day across 2 operating rooms
• On-call required 1-2 nights per week and every 3rd-4th weekend
• Every other weekend required
• May float within service line when there are no CVOR surgeries scheduled
• Perform scrub duties for cardiothoracic surgical cases including CABG, AVR, MVR, Thoracoscopy, Thoracotomy, Robotic Thoracoscopy, TAVR, Impella, and Pericardial windows
• Required skills include scrubbing, Thoracotomy, and Thoracoscopy
• Preferred skills include Robotic Thoracoscopy and experience with DaVinci robotic system
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Patients served include adults and geriatric populations
• Required certification: BLS
• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• No parking cost
