PT - Physical Therapist Acute Care

Job Details:

• Block scheduling with 12 Saturday shifts required per contract
• 40-hour orientation period required
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations in 58-bed unit
• Must have acute rehabilitation and neurology experience
• 2 years of experience required for submission
• Travel experience required
• BLS certification required (AHA issued, must be in hand at time of submittal)
• California state license required at time of submission
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Must complete non-billable modules during orientation (average 1-5 hours)
• Assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs to improve patient mobility, relieve pain, and increase strength
• Provide clinical supervision of assistants and aides
• Work with patients with diagnoses including CVA, SCI, TBI, amputation, cardiac, oncology, multi-trauma, and elective spinal surgery
• Utilize specialized equipment including BariHab, LIKO lifts, Sara Steady, EKSO robotic device, and Bits Balance
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
• 7-year work history verification required
• Two pre-approved time off requests allowed
