Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• 36 hours per week schedule available
• 13-week assignment length
• Patient ratios of 1:5-6
• Every other weekend requirement
• No call requirement
• Float requirement to PICU and NICU
• Self-scheduling system
• Care for ages 0-17 medical surgical patients and hematology/oncology
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• First time travelers accepted if they have 2 years experience
• Required certifications: BCLS and PALS
• Must be able to administer chemotherapy
• Preferred skills: IV start, lab draw, and chemo certification
• 24-hour unit orientation required
• Hospital orientation week one with mandatory daily classes
• Dress code: fun kid tops and navy pants (scrubs not provided)
• Use PYXIS, EPIC, and SBAR systems
• Up to 7 days RTO auto-approved (no holidays)
• Must work 2 of 3 major holidays
• NC or Compact license required
