Echo Technologist Job in Medford, WI

Aspirus Medford Hospital is seeking an Echo Technologist for a 6-week travel contract. You will work 5 days per week on day shifts, performing 6–8 echocardiograms daily for both outpatient and inpatient cases. This is a solo Echo Technologist role with no float or on-call responsibilities.

Schedule & Compensation

• 8-hour day shifts: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM or 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
• 40 guaranteed hours per week
• $2,925.20 weekly pay
• Weekends generally not required; holidays as needed
• Contract start: August 24, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac and vascular echocardiograms with strong knowledge of cardiac and vascular anatomy and physiology
• Demonstrate ECG interpretive skills, including identification and differentiation of arrhythmias
• Apply knowledge of routine cardiovascular pharmacological agents
• Chart in Epic system

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Echo Technologist
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
• One of the following: RDCS, ARDMS, or RCS CCI registry; or RVT, ARDMS, or RVS CCI registry
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in an allied health field preferred
• Epic charting experience highly preferred

• Contractors must live outside a 50-mile radius from the facility

You will be the only Echo Technologist on site, offering the opportunity to work independently in a supportive clinical environment.
