Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 hour shifts per week with variable start times between 7:00 AM and 10:00 AM
• Every 3rd weekend required
• On-call as needed
• Provide technical support to cardiologists, radiologists, and registered nurses for procedures performed in the Interventional Radiology Lab
• Execute safe and precise treatment under the supervision of a cardiologist
• Perform patient assessment, monitoring, and communication with patients, families, and healthcare providers
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure patient privacy and safety
• May be responsible for mentoring and training students
• Serve patients across age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Patient ratio of 10 patients per day
• 40 orientation hours required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required with Cath Lab case experience required
• California state license required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, Fluoro Permit
• Certifications must be AHA or ARC
• 2 references obtained within the last year required
