ED Registered Nurse Job in Wichita Falls, TX

United Regional is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. You'll work a 3x12 night shift schedule with 36/48 hour alternating weeks, providing 84 billable hours biweekly with a 72-hour guarantee.

Role Responsibilities:

• Care for patients across all age groups: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Manage a 4:1 patient ratio on days, nights, and weekends
• Contribute to a 62-room emergency department with a daily census of approximately 190 patients
• Weekend coverage required
• Chart using the Epic system

Requirements:

• Current RN license in-hand before your start date of July 13, 2026
• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience preferred; 2 years accepted if from a high-volume or trauma facility
• Prior travel nursing experience required—no first-time travelers
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS
• Trauma Level II facility experience preferred
• All required lab work must be completed within 72 hours of accepting the offer

What to Expect:

• 48-hour orientation upon arrival
• Orientation modules (non-billable, approximately 2–3 hours) completed during your first 16 hours
• Documentation submission required 3 business days before your start date

Weekly pay is $2,099.52 for a 91-day assignment. Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are not eligible. You must be prepared to relocate for this travel nursing position.
