<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - Med Surg Peds</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)<br>• Self-scheduling available<br>• Weekend coverage as needed<br>• No holiday requirement<br>• Nurse-to-patient ratios: 1:4 during days, 1:5 during nights<br>• 17-bed unit with 14 inpatient beds and 3 observation beds<br>• Care for adult and pediatric patients with common diagnoses including UTI, altered mental status, pneumonia, and COPD<br>• Float to ED/ICU for 1:1 assignments as needed<br>• Required certifications: BLS and PALS<br>• Navy blue scrubs required<br>• One 12-hour orientation shift (may include one night and one day if needed)<br>• MEDITECH charting system<br>• BSN not required<br>• Must pass fit testing requirements (facial hair restrictions apply)<br>• Work with charge nurse who takes patient assignments<br>• Collaborate with 2 nurse aids during day shifts, 1 nurse aid during night shifts<br>• Apply telemetry monitors to patients as needed<br>• No drip titration required<br>• Must be able to work within 50-mile radius and cannot be employed with CommonSpirit facilities</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare facility operates a 17-bed medical surgical pediatric unit providing comprehensive care for both adult and pediatric patients. The facility maintains modern equipment and technology including ICU monitoring capabilities and respiratory therapy services.
