<p><strong>Allied Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>Cytotechnologist - Cytotechnologist</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 10-hour shifts Tuesday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM<br>• Perform screening of gynecological and non-gynecological specimens (required)<br>• Conduct Fine Needle Aspiration (FNA) processing and immediate assessment for adequacy (required)<br>• Handle cytology prep work for GYN/Non-GYN specimens (preferred)<br>• Utilize EPIC charting system<br>• Must be familiar with Bethesda system for cytology reporting<br>• ThinPrep Certification required<br>• Required certifications: ASCP, BLS (AHA)<br>• New York State license required<br>• Bachelor of Science with ASCP Registry and/or Certified Cytology School Degree required<br>• Minimum 3 years experience screening gynecological, non-gynecological specimens and fine needle aspirations<br>• Acute care setting<br>• Minimum $1.25 per hour parking fee</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare facility provides comprehensive laboratory services with a focus on cytology and pathology.
