X-Ray Technician Job in Orangeburg, SC

MUSC Health Orangeburg is seeking an X-Ray Technician for a 91-day travel assignment beginning June 16, 2026. You will work 5x8 hour shifts, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with on-call rotation including weekends.

Your responsibilities:

• Perform radiographic procedures across Radiology and Cardiology departments with sound understanding of anatomical positioning and physiology
• Apply ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis in adult and pediatric settings
• Float within scope to OR, Ortho, Fluoro, Inpatient, Outpatient, and ER coverage as needed
• Operate Phillips and Toshiba equipment with high technical competency
• Work with patients across all age groups: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Demonstrate initiative and work with minimal supervision

Requirements:

• Current ARRT (R), SCRQSA (R), BLS, and CPR certifications
• Fluoroscopy and OR experience required
• Minimum 1 year of experience
• First-time travelers accepted
• Must provide own radiation badge
• Epic charting system preferred; Cerner experience also valued

Additional details:

• Scrub color requirements: Teal top and black bottom
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• During hurricane season (June–November), you may be assigned to emergency response teams

Weekly pay: $1,872. This is an ideal opportunity to gain diverse clinical experience across multiple imaging specialties and patient populations.
