PCU RN Job in Tucson, AZ

Join BUMC Tucson as a Registered Nurse in our Resource Float Pool, working nights on a flexible schedule across two campuses. You will float between various Adult Health units, including Observation, Med-Surg, PCU, and Intermediate Care, with occasional assignments to the ED or PACU to care for adult inpatients.

Position Details:

• Shift: 3x12 nights
• Duration: 89 days
• Start date: June 22, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,582.10
• Location: BUMC Tucson, 1625 N Campbell Ave

Your Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care for assigned patients
• Provide direct patient care, coordination, delegation, and supervision
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members on patient care plans
• Document assessment findings and patient responses in medical records
• Participate in patient and family education
• Respond quickly to patient care needs and maintain flexibility with unit assignments

Required Qualifications:

• Current, valid RN license in Arizona
• Minimum one year of acute care hospital experience
• Acute care hospital experience within the past 12 months
• BLS certification
• Level I Trauma and large hospital experience required
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and respond quickly to patient care demands

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field
• Professional nursing certification
