CT Technologist Job in Valparaiso, IN

Porter Hospital in Valparaiso, Indiana is seeking a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment. You will work nights from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM on a Friday, Saturday, and Sunday schedule (3x12 hours per week).

Role and Responsibilities

• Perform CT and XR imaging in a 10-bed freestanding emergency department
• Work independently from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM; an XR Technologist will be present until 11:00 PM
• Cover Inpatient Rehab Unit and Regency Unit for XR/CT imaging as needed (low volume)
• Operate GE CT Scanner, Philips XR, Vitrea, Merge PACS, and MedRad contrast injector
• Follow established protocols; protocol books and up-to-date scanner protocols are available

Schedule and Compensation

• Guaranteed 72 hours bi-weekly
• No on-call or call requirements
• Block scheduling not available
• Maximum 1 week RTO (return to office) for the duration of assignment
• Weekly pay: $2,628

Requirements

• Current ARRT (R)(CT) certification
• BLS certification
• 1–2 years of CT and XR experience and proficiency
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates will not be accepted
