Travel: RN-PMC - Operating Room/Surgery-DAYS

<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - OR</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Day shift hours: 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM<br>• Primary assignment at Physician Medical Center with required floating to Main campus as staffing needs require<br>• No weekend requirements but can volunteer for call at Main campus<br>• No on-call requirement but expected to stay and finish scheduled cases if they run past block time<br>• Required certifications: Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license, BLS Certification via AHA, ACLS Certification via AHA<br>• Must coordinate and implement patient care specific to assigned patient population<br>• Provide quality care in efficient and safe manner consistent with unit standards<br>• Must have current knowledge and skills appropriate to age/type of patient population served<br>• Communicate clearly and concisely appropriate to developmental age of patient<br>• Must be knowledgeable and sensitive to patients&#39; rights in delivery of care<br>• Physical requirements include handling emergency/crisis situations, prolonged standing and walking, heavy lifting for positioning patients and equipment<br>• Work environment involves exposure to bloodborne pathogens, infectious diseases, and x-rays<br>• Requires manual dexterity, fine motor coordination, and ability to judge distance and space relationships</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This regional medical center is a comprehensive healthcare facility that provides advanced medical services to the community.
