Technologist - Interventional Radiology Lab

Job Details:

• Work day/evening shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts per week with 40-hour work weeks
• On-call responsibilities required
• Must have prior Cath Lab, IR, and EP experience
• Must hold a Washington State Rad Tech License
• Must be a graduate of an approved program of radiological technology or cardiovascular technology
• Must have one of the following certifications: ARRT, RCIS, CI, HRE, or RCES
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Operate fluoroscopy equipment, Epic EMR, and MERGE hemodynamic system within the labs
• Accept patients and assess their condition to determine proper handling and special requirements
• Orient patients to the lab environment, including equipment and procedures to be performed
• Apply extensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and disease processes for proper positioning to obtain maximum diagnostic information
• Maintain fluoroscopy equipment, contrast injector, and other equipment in proper working condition
• Perform clerical duties including verification of information and exams performed using Epic and PACS
• Update and change exam descriptions to reflect actual exams performed
• Properly charge all medical and surgical supplies used during procedures
• Set up required equipment according to standards and prep and scrub procedures in all labs using sterile technique
• Record hemodynamic readings per standards for each procedure
• Adhere to department protocols, procedures, and standards while keeping skills current
