ED - Emergency Room

Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

• 3x12 shift schedule working midshift/evenings from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM or 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• Every other holiday required
• No on-call required
• Patient ratio of 4:1 on days, nights, and weekends
• Float within skillset required as needed
• 2 years of recent emergency department experience required
• Travel experience required
• Within the past 8 months, candidate must have worked in an ED setting with at least 45,600 visits per year (125 per day)
• Triage experience required
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS
• Required skills: BiPAP/CPAP management, care of ventilated patients, general emergency department combined adult and pediatric care, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, isolation precautions and PPE, phlebotomy, starting and maintaining IVs, and triage
• Care for patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Expert prioritization and organizational skills required to manage a fast-paced ER environment
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
