Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 or 4x12 hour shifts on nights, weekdays, every other weekend
• 13+ week contract assignment with possible extension
• Patient ratio of 1:5-6
• 12-hour orientation provided
• Work on 12-bed inpatient oncology unit with med/surg overflow
• Minimum 2 years RN experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Preferred certifications: ONS chemo/bio cert
• IV start skills required
• Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
• Dress code: burgundy and/or white scrubs (not provided)
• Chemotherapy administration experience preferred but not required
• Must maintain excellent attendance - facility only tolerates 2-3 call offs per contract
• Float and call requirements not specified
• Care for adult and geriatric patients
• Work with interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy
