X-Ray Technician Job in Allentown, PA

You will work as an X-Ray Technician at LVH – Cedar Crest in Allentown, PA. This is a 13-week travel assignment with night shifts Monday through Friday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. You will earn $2,678.40 per week with no on-call requirements.

Your Role

You will perform radiographic procedures across multiple settings and patient populations. Your rotations will include the emergency room, children's emergency room, inpatient routine X-rays, fluoroscopy, and portable/bedside procedures. You will work with patients ranging from neonates and infants to adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients. Your skills will cover upper and lower extremities, spine, chest, abdomen, and skull imaging using a range of radiographic techniques and equipment.

Key Requirements

• Current ARRT (R) certification
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of radiologic technotherapy experience
• Level I trauma experience required
• C-arm knowledge and experience required
• Operating room experience required
• First-time travelers are accepted

Technical Proficiencies

You will use PACS systems and the Epic charting platform. You must be comfortable with C-arm procedures, portable/bedside radiography, adult acute care and outpatient imaging, and pediatric outpatient procedures. A wide range of radiographic techniques will be within your scope.

Work Environment

You will work in a Level I trauma facility. Any color scrubs are permitted. The assignment runs 91 days with a start date of September 21, 2026. This is a straightforward night-shift role with consistent Monday–Friday scheduling and no unexpected call-in obligations.
