Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• Floating is required
• Must be located more than 75 miles from facility - locals not accepted
• First time travelers accepted
• Patient ratio of 1:5 to 1:7 for Med Surg
• EPIC charting experience is required
• Required certifications: BLS and NIHSS - valid NIHSS must be included in submittal
• Additional certifications required: ACLS
• High volume unit with 26-bed telemetry unit caring primarily for CHF patients, acute MI's, post device care (pacemakers), and patients with arrhythmias
• 51-bed unit caring for general surgery patients including colon rectal, ostomies, plastic and cosmetic center patients, breast procedures, and reconstruction surgeries
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Must have NY license in hand - no exceptions
• Required skills include: blood product administration, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, isolation precautions/PPE, nasal cannula, non-invasive airway management, oxygen administration, peripheral line care/management, use of rapid response/code teams, and wound care/wound vac
• Scrub color: Any combination of navy and white
