Job Details:

• Full-time position working 36 hours per week
• Scheduled shifts on Sunday, Wednesday, and Saturday
• 12-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Variable shifts may be required based on census
• Holidays are covered by call and assistance may be requested
• Perform MRI procedures including using and building protocols
• Screen patients for contraindications pertaining to exams and follow safety requirements per ACR and facility protocols
• Interview and educate patients to explain MRI procedures, addressing concerns with tact and courtesy
• Ensure patient and staff safety by explaining safety protocols, requesting removal of hazardous metal objects, and alerting staff of dangers
• Monitor patients at all times both visually and verbally
• Operate equipment necessary for daily duties and patient care
• Maintain a clean and orderly environment to promote good safety habits
• Maintain and report on equipment status and help monitor inventory
• Provide age-appropriate care for geriatric, pediatric, and general patient populations
• Maintain patient confidentiality at all times
• Associate's Degree or Certificate from a two-year college, university, or certificate-based program required
• ARRT registration required
• BCLS certification required within 4 months of hire and maintained thereafter
