Job Details:

• 12-hour variable shifts covering both days and nights
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• 8-week contract length
• Every other weekend required
• Every other holiday required
• Float to all inpatient units as needed, with potential to float to Stevens Point, Plover, and Divine Savior locations
• May be placed on low census call; call back minimum is 2 hours
• Patient ratio of 1:10 to 1:15 on Medical/Surgical unit
• Treat patients with respiratory illnesses, stroke, neurological conditions, gastrointestinal illness, diabetic management, renal failure, urinary tract disorders, sepsis, wound care, clotting disorders, infectious disease processes, and acute alcohol withdrawal
• Assist with ADLs, full set vitals, POC blood glucose, Foley care, bladder scan, PIV removal, ostomy pouches, 1:1 sitter care, lift equipment operation, postmortem care, occupied bed changes, behavioral health/withdrawal patients, PPE donning/doffing, telemetry leads, strict I&Os, ambulation assistance, and gait belt application
• Epic charting experience required
• Minimum 1 year of short-term acute care inpatient experience required
• Required certifications: WI CNA license, AHA or ARC BLS
• High school diploma, GED, or official transcripts required
• Must be a hard worker, resilient, and able to manage change well
• Must be able to work independently, complete tasks timely, and collaborate with team and ancillary staff
