Job Details:

• 2 years of medical assistant experience required
• Medical Assistant certification highly preferred
• BLS certification required (must be AHA or American Red Cross)
• PALS certification preferred
• Weekend coverage required
• Epic experience preferred
• Travel experience required
• Previous charge experience required
• 40 hours of orientation required
• Daily census of 100-250 patients
• Work in 13-room facility
• Care for patients of all age groups including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Skills include administering medications, vital signs, immunizations, wound care, specimen collection, patient rooming, telephone triage, and various clinical procedures
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
• Complete modules during orientation (1-5 hours average, recorded through e-learning)
• 7-year work history verification required
• Background check required with disclosure of any issues prior to submission
