Endoscopy RN Job in Tucson, AZ

BUMC Tucson is seeking an RN for its endoscopy department. You'll work 4 shifts of 10 hours per week in a high-volume setting managing 60+ cases daily.

Schedule

• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM
• No on-call responsibilities

Your Role

You'll assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care according to organizational standards. You'll coordinate patient care, supervise healthcare team activities, and document all assessments and interventions in patient records. You'll interact directly with patients, families, physicians, and multidisciplinary teams while demonstrating clinical competencies specific to endoscopy.

Requirements

• Current valid RN license
• Minimum 2 years endoscopy experience
• Previous travel healthcare experience
• BLS certification
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 75 pounds
• Willingness to use standard precautions due to exposure to blood and bodily fluids

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Professional certification
