ED Registered Nurse Job in Fond du Lac, WI

ThedaCare Fond du Lac is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department on a 13-week travel contract. You will work 3x12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM) with 36 guaranteed hours per week and no on-call or callback requirements.

Role Overview

You will care for patients across 10 inpatient beds, 8 ED bays, 1 consult room, and 3 hallway patient areas, with a typical patient ratio of 1:4–6. Your responsibilities include direct patient care, assessment, and charting in Epic. You may float to Medical/Surgical units and other ThedaCare facilities within a 60-mile radius as needed. Every 4th weekend rotation and holiday rotation are required.

Requirements

• Current Wisconsin RN license
• AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• TNCC certification
• 3–5+ years of ER nursing experience
• One previously completed travel nursing contract
• Epic charting experience within the last 12 months
• Associate degree or certificate minimum; BSN strongly preferred
• Point of Care Testing experience strongly preferred

What to Know

You will complete an 8-hour unbillable orientation. Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of ThedaCare Corporate Center in Neenah, Wisconsin. You should be a strong communicator and team player, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and collaborating across multiple units and facilities.

Compensation & Duration

Weekly pay is $2,332.80. The contract runs 13 weeks and begins June 29, 2026.
