Cath Lab Technologist Job in Carmel, IN

IU Health North Hospital is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment. You will work a 4x10 day shift schedule with call requirements of a minimum 2 days per week and every 3rd weekend.

About the Role

As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will support both cardiology and interventional radiology procedures. Your responsibilities include circulating, managing conscious sedation, and operating advanced imaging and support equipment. You will assist with a broad range of cardiac procedures including left and right heart catheterization, temporary and permanent pacemaker placement, balloon pump support, and STEMI protocols. You will also support interventional radiology procedures such as venous access, drain placement, peripheral vascular interventions, embolization procedures, and management of internal bleeds.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum 1 year of cath lab or interventional radiology experience (first-time travelers not accepted)
• Current ACLS, BCLS, and ARRT certifications
• Proficiency with Cerner charting system (preferred)
• Hands-on experience with Acist injector, Siemens C-arm, Philips C-arm, Medrad power injector, Rotopro, Diamondback, IVUS, OCT, Shock wave, Rampart, Pneumbra, and Inari equipment
• Competency in angiography, angioplasty, aortography, cardiac stent placement, central venous access, IABP placement and removal, IVC filter placement and removal, PCI, rotablader atherectomy, thrombolysis and thrombectomy, and uterine arterial embolization
• Ability to recognize and interpret dysrhythmias and life-threatening arrhythmias
• Demonstrated sterile technique and hemodynamic monitoring capability
• Previous charge experience preferred

Assignment Details

You will care for adolescent, adult, pediatric, and geriatric patients. Floating within IU Health North Hospital or to affiliate hospitals is required. One occurrence of pre-approved time off is allowed during the assignment.

Compensation

Weekly pay: $3,254.40. Start date: July 6, 2026.
