ICU - Intensive Care Unit

Opportunity:

RN - CCU

Job Details:

• Work 8-hour shifts with non-billable orientation included
• Weekend and holiday availability required as needed
• No on-call responsibilities
• Must be willing to float to PCU as needed
• Block scheduling is not available for this position
• Unit size of 20 beds with a 1:2 patient ratio
• Dress code: Personal scrubs of any color
• 2 years of current Critical Care experience required
• Experience with ventilators, ICP monitoring, and hemodynamic monitoring required
• Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) preferred
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Must have own vehicle - this is a firm requirement
• Must work at least two of the following holiday blocks if scheduled: Thanksgiving Day/Friday after and weekend after; Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and weekend after; New Year's Eve through New Year's Day and weekend after
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS
• Massachusetts RN license required
• Skills checklist for Critical Care current within one year required
• One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment required
• All requested time off must be submitted and noted at time of upload - requests after upload or during interview will not be approved
• No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted
